Hi all,

I now have two more items available on DVD:

Rita Tushingham (1966) --
A 43-minute German-made documentary about Rita, from the film
production company Südfunks Stuttgart. The documentary has German
narration from both male and female voiceover artists, while the
English-language footage of Rita has German subtitles. Contains
scenes of Rita going about her daily routine on photo shoots, taking
her family to the zoo, living at home in Hertfordshire, and visiting
various locales in her home town of Liverpool, including her Dad's
grocery, her convent school, and the Liverpool Playhouse.

This Is Your Life (13 Dec 1999) episode "Rita Tushingham" --
Rita's life and career are profiled in this episode of the British
television series 'This Is Your Life', recorded in front of a studio
audience on 23 Jul 1999, and telecast later that year. The available
copy is an unedited master, and is uncaptioned, either with opening
title graphics or with the closing credits scroll and Thames
production caption. At 40 minutes in length, it is ten minutes
longer than the standard half-hour shows as transmitted. The
facility house appears not to have given sufficient run-in time,
since the program content starts before the earliest point of the
recording, just missing the opening few seconds of the 'This Is Your
Life' opening music and footage, a montage of 60s newsreel footage of
swinging London.

A few months ago, I asked Rita if she had any ultra-rare videos in
her collection. She responded by saying that she had these two, and
would permit me to make copies. (What a nice lady!) I didn't want
to take the risk that her videotapes might get lost in the trans-
Atlantic mail, should she send them to me in the USA, so I had a
friend of mine in London do the tape-to-DVD transfer. It works out
well for Rita, since she gets DVD copies of her old videos, free of
charge, since I pay the cost -- as long as I get to keep a set of
DVDs for myself!

I would be happy to make DVD copies if there is any interest in these
items. Drop me an email message at rjd0309@..., or request the
items through my Tushingham fan website, www.ritatushingham.com (an
alias for http://members.cox.net/rjd0309/tush/).

Kind regards,
Robert
