Hi all,

I'm happy to report that Rita is working on a new film. Here is what
she had to say about it in a recent email.

"I am off to Ireland to shoot a film called PUFFBALL, from a book by
Fay Weldon, directed by the wonderful Nick Roeg, with Miranda
Richardson, Kelly Reilly, and Donald Sutherland, it is a wonderful
role for me and I am really looking forward to it. I will be back
and forth from Ireland, I should be back before Easter for a few
days..."

It's great that Rita is still working in films, this is her 46th year
as a professional film actress -- a long career by anyone's measure.
She particularly loves Ireland; she made GIRL WITH GREEN EYES (1963)
in Dublin and County Wicklow. Also THE BOY FROM MERCURY (1996). Not
sure about I'VE BEEN EDDIE MOSTYN (1996), as it might have been
Wales, not Ireland.

Rita's new Miss Marple episode is coming up soon -- right now it
looks to be on British ITV1 channel on 09 April. Will get this
recorded and converted to American format as soon as possible.
