Robert, a very belated thanks for "A Place to Go"--what a pleasure
to finally see this lost Rita performance. She steals the entire
movie, easily, with her cockiness, and dare I say punky arrogance.
She seems more self-assured than in any previous film, and certainly
more "in charge" than in "The Knack" (at least initially)
and "Smashing Time". Also nice to see Barbara Ferris ("Having a Wild
Weekend", "The System") in a minor role, too. Not too crazy about
Mike Sarne, but that's life in the kitchen sink. Thanks again for
sourcing this British drama.
