Pierce Brosnan fans will probably enjoy THE MATADOR. Brosnan plays a
middle-aged hit man falling apart, but it remains lighthearted and fun
considering the topic. It is a thriller as well as a character story.
The ACTING IS VERY GOOD, and most critics liked the film.
TRISTAN & ISOLDE is a big disappointment. Panned by most critics,
it's based on the classic tale of forbidden love set in medieval
England. The performances of the lead actors are very poor. The
lovers have NO CHEMISTRY. And the screen adaptation of the tale is
boring.
GLORY ROAD is probably the most cliche movie you will see in a long
time. The story of the first all black starting college basketball
team has been turned into a MINDLESS series of fairytale sequences.
There are so many movies of this type that do a better job, critics
are finding it very difficult to recommend this film.
The quickly forgettable and very poorly animated HOODWINKED is the
story of the "real truth" behind Little Red Riding Hood's
disappearance. The only positive thing that critics can say about
this film is that it MAY BY ENJOYABLE TO PEOPLE UNDER 10.

Most critics call Woody Allen's new film MATCH POINT the BEST HE'S
MADE IN 10 YEARS. Tight and stylish, the main character is an also
ran tennis pro trying to win the affections of Scarlet Johansson's
femme-fatal character. Shot in London it focuses on the idea of luck,
money, and fame. Most of the cast are lesser-known British actors.
It has received 4 Golden Globe nominations including best director and
best screenplay.
Quentin Tarantino's new film HOSTEL is getting very good reviews from
horror film enthusiasts. It is basically A MODERN DAY DELIVERANCE
with more gore. The plot is based on two college boys backpacking
through Eastern Europe. It has plenty of chopped up body parts, and
is a small window into human trafficking.
GRANDMA'S BOY has not been released for review prior to opening day,
which has classically been a VERY BAD SIGN.
CHEEPER BY THE DOZEN TWO is considered by reviewer to be so POOR they
can't find a demographic to recommend it to.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. One of my friends gave me
The Happy Elf DVD that was just released on Dec. 6. Watching this
movie truly got me into the holiday spirit! I highly recommend
watching The Happy Elf because I adored this Harry Connick Jr.
charming animated film. As a serious fan of his artistry, Connick
successful narrates, executive produces, and provides all the
original music for this new NBC holiday show/DVD, based on his
wonderful song. The story is endearing and the characters are
adorable and comical. The plot is very easy to follow and flows
very well from scene to scene. The music featured is upbeat and
inspiring. The story and its music truly get me into the Christmas
mood and spirit. Although this is more of kid¡¦s film, but adults
can still relate to the messages of being good all year round that
their children will pick up along Eubie¡¦s journey. This bright and
light-hearted film has already became one of my all time Christmas
favorites, along with A Christmas Story, Miracle on 38th Street,
Love Actually, The Polar Express, A Christmas Carol, and It¡¦s a
Wonderful Life! The DVD has numerous great features, including all
kinds of fun games for the kids to play - Eubie¡¦s Gift Grab, a
North Pole Puzzle Game, Printable Holiday Cards, and a Bluesville
Coloring Book!!!

By some of these posts, you'd assume that he just discontinued
the character. But he really passed away, didn't he? Has anybody
seen anything for sure?
We should see if he'll continue as either Larry or Jimmy critic. What a shame
too, I found a movie called Robo Vampire on Imdb.

If you are interested in buying tickets to any United Artists
Theatres movie for all the HUGE summer movies coming soon (X-Men 2,
Matrix, Terminator 3, Legally Blonde 2, etc.) or to give the gift of
movies to someone for a gift and want to get them at half price,
please let me know. These have no restrictions and include free
popcorn and drink coupons. I have plenty for $5 each ticket. Just
let me know at drkappasig@...!
http://www.upcomingmovies.com/angermanagement.html
Look at this, Sandler is making a movie that sounds suspiciously like
Filthy's script. Fucking Nicholson is even in it. Maybe Filthy's
script goes into other areas, I don't know I only read the first page
or two because... I forget why, i had drinking to do or something,
but damnit don't this sound just like it? Goddamn hollywood
grassfuckers.
Does the filthy critic oblige requests to review movies, in
particular the ones out on video?
I saw "How High" the other night and without expressing my opinion on
it, would like to ready a filthy critic review on it.
Also, fuck you, "boberhenmson". Keep your fucking solicitations out
of this group. First message/file is from a dickless spammer. I
hate the internet.
