INSIDE MAN is a Spike Lee movie about a New York City bank robbery
planned with surgical precision. Characterized as a movie half about
action and half about ethnic politics, reviewers by and large really
liked the film. There are some INGENIOUS CAPER ideas, and plenty of
explosions. Staring Denzel Washington and Jodie Foster, this is a
solid movie in a genera that Lee has just begun to explore.
One of the funniest satires to come out of Hollywood in years, THANK
YOU FOR SMOKING is the story of the chief spokesman for Big Tobacco.
His two close friends are the representatives for alcohol and
firearms. It goes beyond the easy jokes, and the performances are
good. It is UNRELENTING, and reviewers roundly liked it.
STAY ALIVE is a horror movie about kids being killed in the same way
as their video game characters. It has NOT BEEN RELEASED FOR REVIEW.
Not one movie this year has been released without review that has been
anything but horrible.
LARRY THE CABLE GUY: HEALTH INSPECTOR is a vehicle for the widely
popular standup comedian David Koechner. This movie has NOT BEEN
RELEASED FOR REVIEW.
