A big disappointment. Could’ve been MUCH better , for the story is rich, filled with emotions and agonies, but it was naively dealt with , and the dialogues were poor and weak.
I don’t think that this movie has anything to offer.

I saw
many version of this novel, one I loved the most is the 1996 movie.
This series is good, but it seemed that there were some extra scenes ,unnecessary addition, that were boring and didn’t help the plot, or maybe minis need these kinds of additions more that movies!!! One thing for sure, Toby Stephens is a great Mr. Rochester .
anyway , it’s always enjoyable to watch any version of Jane Eyre.
The first thought I had after the end of it is that I really want to watch Wuthering heights! I never watched any version of it, and I need to watch a version of the whole novel, not only till Katharine dies,!!! What happens after is what I love the most about that novel…. Wishing to see it soon.
