What a joy to see Fay Wray up and about and looking so radiant. I
recall, from 10 years ago, TV coverage of the 60th birthday
festivities for the Empire State Building. Ms. Wray was Guest of
Honor, of course, and the network news showed clips of her presiding
at the party. May 1, 2001, is the 70th birthday of the famous
building. I'm hoping that Fay Wray will again be in attendance, and
that the media takes a break from the usual glut of bad news to cover
this event.
