Meeting Fay

Hi,

Glad I fhoud this site. Fay Wray is one person definately at the top
of my list of people I would have loved to have met. I have loved
King Kong since I was little, and it stil is my favorite film. The
fact that she was still around, I thought was awesome.

Well, I regret not trying to meet her, I suppose I wasn't consumed
by it. Who knows if I would have had the chance anyway. Tried
searching the internet once a while back to find some info, but
couldn't find anything. To find out now that she lived in NYC (not
far from me) is even more amazing.

It wasn't even a physical attraction thing, although she was a
beautiful woman. It just would have been great to meet the woman
from King Kong after all of this time. Even as a 96 year old woman.
I stared at the picture of her in the newspaper today which was
taken just this past May at The Empire State Building. It just blew
my mind that THAT woman from THAT movie was still with us only a few
days ago ! To me, that is unbelievable. Trule a unique thing.

Of course, I don't mean to dimish her other work. It's just that
King Kong means a lot to me, and is such a special, classic film.

God bless you Fay Wray - you will be missed, but I know you are in
God's care now.

R.

My recollection is hazy but, possibly in the 70's, Fay Wray was interviewed by Johnny Carson. She spoke about her soon to be published autobiography, "On The...

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. It's hard to say exactly how I feel, so I am glad it came out ok. I thought it was a blessing that we had her here for so long. ...
