Hello!
I'm new to the Fay Wray group, although I've been reading your
messages for quite some time. I fell for Fay in 1971 when I was 8
years old, after seeing the uncut "King Kong" on TV for the first
time. I'm now 39, and Fay is still the girl of my dreams. I like
all of her films, but "Kong" and "The Most Dangerous Game" are my
favorites. I'm happy to be a member of a group that is equally fond
of her.
Did you know that "The Making Of King Kong" by George Turner &
Orville Goldner has recently been updated? It is now called "Spawn
Of Skull Island" (apparently, for legal reasons, "King Kong" cannot
be referenced in the book's title), and it has been updated by the
late Mr. Turner's writing partner Michael Price, with contributions
from Douglas Turner (George's son). The original text has been
revised & corrected, and new chapters and photos have been added.
(Don't get rid of your original "Making Of King Kong", though,
because some of its rare photos are not in "Spawn Of Skull Island".)
It's a very nice hardcover book, printed in a limited edition of 750
copies, and priced at $40.00. It can be purchased from its publisher
Midnight Marquee Press at the following link:

Best wishes to all Fay fans everywhere,
