With the 70th anniversary of the original "King Kong" on the horizon
for next spring, does anyone know when Warner Home Entertainment will
release the long-awaited American DVD? I'm hoping Steve Bingen reads
this, as he seems to have an inside track.
The reason I bring this up now is because, in the last several weeks,
I have seen no less than 3 items on eBay for the DVD version of the
1933 spectacular movie- "good for all regions" and "not yet released
on Amazon." DVD piracy?
Speaking of 70th anniversaries. tomorrow marks that of our
enthusiastic co-member Jose Gomez. I know that I am not the only one
who has enjoyed Jose's artwork and sly humor. Many happy returns,
Jose!
