It is completely immaterial whether Fay Wray's dress was, in real life, off-white, pale blue, light pink, or whatever. All that mattered then, was how it would look in B&W! Otherwise, we might as well delve into what color Fay's hair was, really, or if Kong was really "as big as a house!"
Then why are the people in charge of promoting the new DVD bent on knowing the real life truth?
