I love to get correspondence from fellow fan members. However, we
seldom get onto the chat rooms due to the time limits....school,
research, etc.
I feel that for those who share stories about Jim with the group, but
who do not publish their e-mail addresses, we who would like to
respond to these comments, etc., should have a way to send a reply
through the moderators, and have that reply forwarded onto those
people, so that then in turn, can correspond with the party replying.
I'd love to correspond with beboutm1947. He supplied a beautiful
story about Jim. I'm an avocational professional writer, attempting
to complete what I hope will be an authorized version of Jim's
biography, and would love to hear from anyone who knew him, or who
had the pleasure of meeting this fantastic gentleman.
I am a Christian writer, and am planning to write a version that is
true, but yet totally uplifting, undermining the negative comments
that were made about Jim. From what I've found out about Jim thus
far, he was a man of great faith, who never hesitated to share his
beliefs in the Lord with others, and a man who had a heart as big as
all outdoors. He never hesitated to share what he had with others in
need, regardless of whether or not he had much to give...he always
gave it openly. He was a man who was full of life and enjoyed a good
time. I would like to portray this in my book, a version that will
portray him to the world as someone who left us all too soon.....a
great and tragic loss for us all.
Anyone who would like to share infomation about him with me via e-
mail.....please do. I'm a professional who knows what to say...and
what not to. Again, I want to portray Jim in a positive light,
downplaying any mistakes he might have made. He was human...like all
of us. His attributes and positive contributions have far
outweighted anything negative. WHAT A TRAGIC LOSS TO US ALL!!!
Love to hear from all of you. Enjoy being a member!!!
