Hi..I'm Jenny and new to the list...great news for lung cancer
sufferers ...
...but maybe too late for us...Hi..I'm Jenny and new to the list. I
need help as much as I want to give help and share information with
others. We are in Australia.
My partner Geoff (smoker 40 years)has multiple metastises in the
brain as a result of lung cancer...it came back to the lung and spead
to the brain after chemo and radium treatment.(a bit like Jim eh)That
was 3 months ago. He was given 2 weeks to two months to live then
after being given 2 months to live when he was originally diagnosed
with the lung cancer more than a year ago now.
We are coping as best we can, and things lately are on the improve I
think. On the recommendation of a friend I visited the website
www.cancercarer.com about how this guy and his brother beat lung
cancer...the information there was great (it's really for all cancer
sufferers) and gave us new hope and seems to make a difference to
Geoff's health and his outlook. His energy levels are improving and
he has started to become interested in what's going on in the world
again. The common sense and straightforward approach made the advice
understandable and simple to follow..even for me. The support groups
section is just so comprehensive it's unbelievable. The link to
www.gethealthyagain.com (nearly at the end of the Support Groups
Section) was the most instructive for me...it made EVERYTHING fall
into place and how we should all be approaching this subject from an
early age and remedy the cause instead of treating the symptom when
it's often too late.
Anyway, Im hoping to read some stuff from this group that might be of
further help. I hope that this information might have helped someone
too.
best,
Jenny Newton
