I am currently looking through a lot of information on BYE BYE
BLACKBIRD, a film that fairuza is supposidly in. The sources that I
have looked at give conflicting in formation as to whether Ru is or
isn't in the film. I have contacted a few people who would
definatly know whether Ru is in the film or not, so hopefully I get
a reply back soon.
Some info that I came across that helps explain somethings, is an
article that said the film has taken three years to make, which
could explain why it seems like Fairuza hasn't been doing much of
anything for a long time.
This is one article that I just came across on the film, but it's
from Sept. of 2003.
"Ute Schneider is overseeing production on "Bye, Bye Blackbird," a
German-French-British-Luxembourgian co-production about a young
trapeze artist in a European circus. Robinson Savary is directing
the pic, which stars Fairuza Balk, Michael Lonsdale. Malcolm
McDowell, previously attached to the project, has withdrawn."
I do know that film is made, IMDB.com list the project as in Post-
production, but it doesn't list Ru in the cast. I watched a
short "making of" thing on the film, which made it look very good.
The "making of" didn't show Fairuza, but it also didn't show other
stars in the film either. There is also a pretty cool poster for
the film, but the poster doesn't mention Fairuza.
The film's production company, MOVIEHOUSE, had a pdf file on the
film that listed Ru as being in the film and had a short bio of her
on it as well.
I'll update with more info later
