Subject: CASTING NOTICE
We are just two and a half weeks from opening and we
urgently need additional actors for this annual cultural event.
(93rd Season) Beginners are welcome and age, young or old, is no
barrier.
We need one strong actor for the role of Annas, one of the high
priests with a lot of scene work. In addition we need 5 men to play
apostles and other small roles and several women to play small roles
and chorus.
The director is Carl Gonzalez, who many of you might know. He is a
professional playwright, leads the theater program at the Newark
Performing Arts High School and is one of the partners in the Arts
Factory in Bayonne, and an easy guy to take direction from.
Anyone interested, including high school students, should email me
directly at jplewis@parkpac.org
or call 201-865-6980.
We will be seeing people this Wednesday and Thursday evening. Schedule follows -
This is a great opportunity for young or beginning actors to get on
stage in front of a 1,000 people (March 15 - already sold) and to
work with professional actors.
