LCP presents a new take on the classic vampire tale in FRAU DRACULA: THAT PRUSSIAN SHE-BITCH FROM HELL by J.D. Klein and directed by Le Wilhelm at American Theatre of Actors, opening Valentine's Day for a three-week run. Heightened realism, homoeroticism, and genuine horror bring screams and laughs in this new adaptation in which a female Van Helsing faces off against the Queen of the Damned in 1930's England.
The cast features Kristin Carter, Philip Galbraith, Nick Giello, A.C. Jermyn, Rachel Lande, Megan Sambataro, Gregg David Shore, Al Smith, and Kirsten Walsh with Cynthia Granville (ALFIE) in the title role. Director Wilhelm helmed Bill Elverman's controversial THE MASK Off-Broadway and the sold-out premiere of MAIDEN'S PROGENY this summer at 59E59.
Performances are Feb. 14 - 16 at 8pm, Feb. 17 at 3 and 8pm, Feb. 18 at 7pm; Feb. 23 at 8pm, Feb. 24 at 3 and 8pm, Feb. 25 at 7pm; March 2 - 3 @ 8p, March 4 at 6pm at the Beckmann Theatre at American Theatre of Actors, 314 West 54 Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.
