ROBERT MILAZZO (writer/director) - A writer/director based in New
York. Robert also teaches acting, directing, and screenwriting in New
York, Los Angeles, and Florence, Italy. Robert's own training started
at Duke University, and soon after he began working at several Tony
Award-winning regional theaters, including the Globe Theaters (San
Diego, CA) and McCarter Theater (Princeton, NJ.) He next served as
writer/director David Mamet's Project Associate for two years, in
addition to having worked with William H. Macy, Mike Nichols and
Sidney Lumet on various film and tv projects during that time; most
recently, Robert served as the Assistant to the Co-Executive Producer
for NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." Robert has advised on the
acting and directing curriculum for various training programs
including Columbia University, Parsons School of Design, and
Breakthrough Studios, New York. He continues to coach award-winning
actors in film, television, theater technique, both institutionally
and via his own acting studio. Most recently, Robert produced the
music video "Almost Always" marking the directing debut for actor Mike
Myers. Robert is currently producing "The Guru Pitka's Four Laws of
Happiness" starring Mike Myers at various venues in New York City.
Summer 2006 he will direct the feature-film "War Eagle", written by
Graham Gordy.
