Hi guys:

I am casting for a short film entitled "The Pod" about people who take an
evil drug.

I am looking for a specific candidate. The scene involves our heroine on a
drug trip who encounters a kissing couple, and the boyfriend's hand is fused
to the girlfriend's face.

The boyfriend is cast, the girlfriend is not. If you know anyone who would
be interested, please let me know --

FUSED COUPLE FEMALE -- mid-20s, 5'8" to 6'O", beautiful woman whose
boyfriend is making out with her -- and his hand is fused to her face
(Special F/X).

The role involves one night of shooting in Brooklyn, NY. I've cut-and-pasted
the scene below.

But it involves kissing a guy and wearing some F/X. It also involves a
separate day or evening trip to New Jersey for a day of prosthetic make-up
testing.

However, it is definitely an eye-catching moment in a horror film and would
look cool on a reel.

Shoot date would be one night either on the weekend of Sep 30-Oct 2 or Oct
14-16.

EXT. QUIET STREET - NIGHT

Caroline is wearing an overcoat and pajama pants. Her lips are dry and she's
shivering as she shuffles down the street.

She comes around a corner and peeks into the window of a bar but it's dark
inside. A COUPLE burst out of the bar door. The man positions his date
against the wall of the building as he makes out with her. They're oblivious
to Caroline who is standing a few feet away.

Caroline looks closely at them, then her face contorts in horror.

CLOSE ON COUPLE

The man's fingertips are fused to the woman's cheek as he cradles and kisses
her face. After a moment, he senses Caroline's presence and glares at her.

Caroline turns and runs around the corner. She glances back once and keeps
going.
