About GothStock The Festival
GothStock is a 2005 Summer Peace Festival featuring 50 different artists from all over the world. A two-day gathering of live music and entertainment to celebrate the beauty and dark lifestyle of sometimes misunderstood by the mainstream subculture. GothStock brings you the best of dark music, culture and outreach.
GothStock is quickly gaining support from the Gothic community all around the world. The great demand for this kind of event has been expressed through numerous e-mails, message boards, and online groups where we promoted our ideal. Starting out as a one-time gathering, GothStock has a definite potential to grow into a yearly or even a worldwide event competing with such renowned festivals as the Milwaukee, NJ, TX, MD, OH and CA Metal Fest’s. Featuring major and independent acts, venders, charities and giveaways two nights long. GothStock is geared up for people of different subcultures to come together raising awareness for a peaceful, Gothic community that supports children, medical illness and animal rights. A portion of the profits of this event will go to charities that support our cause.

Artillery Promotion - Artillery Promotions was started in April 2004 with a memorable, all- day Battle of the Bands for WARY 88.1fm in Valhalla, NY (titled WAR at WARY). The initial, and continuous, goal of setting up only the best shows for New York fans to attend has been proven every time by owner, Angelo Competiello's hard- work and determination. Since its birth, Artillery has booked clubs like Wild Spirits NYC (formerly Hogs and Heifers), Backstage (Long Island), Downtime NYC (a.k.a. Batcave), with many more in the works. Bands like Vital Remains (featuring Glen Benton of Deicide), Akercocke, Mortician, Internal Suffering, Arsis, Abazagorath, and many, many more have graced the Artillery stage. Sponsorships may be in the form of monetary compensation, quid pro quo compensation, and media coverage, with benefits tailored to varying levels of sponsorship. The benefits of sponsorship include:

Ø BANNER AT THE EVENT: Do you have a banner that clearly trumpets your product? Your sponsorship will allow that banner to be place around the venue area!
Ø BROCHURES/HANDOUTS AT THE MERCHANDISE TABLE: Do you have brochures or other handouts that best describe your product? No problem! Our merchandise table will be chock-full of any and all of the brochures you could possibly forward to us!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Like we mentioned before, GothStock is looking for sponsors to help with some of the financial problems we are facing in putting together an event of this size. It can get somewhat costly with a goal of 50 bands attending from all around the world. All Money received from sponsors will be used on confirmed attending artist’s for deposit’s and/or full payment, airline tickets, hospitality, advertising, and some hotel and transportation needs. GothStock is already looking into service resources to help keep the cost down.
There are many different ways you and/or your company can sponsor an event like GothStock. Depending on what kind of company you are, or even if you’re an individual that simply just wants to help. The members of GothStock are still in the process of putting together this event. We do apologize that at this time we are unable to supply you with the complete list of sponsors, venders or even a complete list of attending 50 bands from around the world. But we would be happy to supply you with our final finished press package as soon as all the information is available. We hope your charity’s name will be listed as well.
