EXPERIENCED NEWS READER/WRITER - AT&T, Somerset Country.
Starts: Late April/Early May 2005 (Permanent position)

On-air talent required for twice-daily internet news broadcast. The
successful candidate will have a combination of the following
skills/attributes:
* Comfort and presence on-screen. You've been in front of a camera, on a
regular basis, for long periods of time. You have a personality that will
show through, even when you're reading updates about news of a technical
nature.
* Research and Script writing. Given the source material, you can put
together pithy, interesting news broadcasts of about 5-10 minutes.
* Knowledge of internet security and the telecomm industry a plus, but not
required.
* Comfort and experience meeting firm deadlines.
* Other, non-required bonuses: knowledge of video editing, camera work,
lighting work, sound, etc. This position does not require technical work,
but knowing that you could chip in in a pinch would be of some benefit.
This is a full-time position, located in Somerset County, NJ. A typical day
would involve researching and writing stories for the early afternoon
broadcast, going on-air, researching and writing stories for the late
afternoon brodcast, then going on-air.
