Hello everyone!

We are currently doing the casting for "Frame of Mind", a very
Low-Budget, DV, SAG-Experimental (SAG & non-SAG may submit) feature
film being directed by Brian Jude. The following are the character
descriptions:


Mike: (M) Late 20's-Early 30's. Businessman. Leads a
redundant, routine life; mildly obsessive-compulsive, but more
neurotic and uptight; loves neatness & order and therefore does not
like to take risks of any kind. Plain in look and dress – not a
very modern look; clean-cut appearance.

Wendy: (F) Mid-Late 20's. Blonde. Mike's best friend & co-
worker. Has a sweet disposition and a "girl-next-door"
quality about her. Also lives a somewhat plain life and holds high
moral values. Conservative in dress, but more modern than Mike.

Angela: (F) Mid 20's. Brunette. Friend of Wendy and co-worker
of Wendy & Mike – slightly younger than the two of them.
Independent, flirtatious party girl; is responsible but knows how to
have a good time. Somewhat sarcastic personality. Definitely a
high-fashion girl – loves to shop.

Nate: (M) Late 20's-Early 30's. Sharp, cutting-edge look;
smooth talker but has something devious behind his eyes.
Charismatic; can easily gain anybody's trust.

Morgan: (F) Late 20's. Redhead. Beautiful, seductive partner
of Nate; slightly younger than him. Exudes sexuality in everything
she does. Dresses provocatively but not tacky. Also well-spoken.

Dave: (M) Early-Mid 30's. Mike's older brother. Married
and has a new baby. Much more socially well-adjusted than Mike; was
probably a jock in college. Perfect example of your regular All-
American guy. Is protective of Mike and tries to get him to come
out of his shell.

Detective Valerie Morris: (F) Late 30's-Early 40's. African-
American. Head detective in a murder investigation. Hard worker
and is dedicated to her job. Has probably had to overcome many
obstacles to get where she is today.

Detective Henry Nichols: (M) Late 30's-Early 40's.
Detective Morris' partner. Has a youthfulness about him that
makes
him seem much younger than he really is.

Officer Lourdes Santiago: (F) Late 20's. Latino. Sketch artist
for the police department (actual artistic talent is not needed to
play the role).

Doctor Lynne Cohen: (F) Mid 40's. Auburn-haired. Mike's
psychiatrist. A very patient and somewhat soft-spoken woman. Very
intelligent and insightful; usually remains calm.

Judge Howard Sanders: (M) 50's. A somewhat stern judge; a
"no-nonsense" kind of guy. The years have been hard on him.


All actors must be able to transport themselves in and around all
areas of New Jersey. Actors should also be willing to accept
background parts if not cast as a principle.
