Duration: 3 days, starts Mid July

Playing Doctor is a non-union short film where teenage innocence meets
midlife crisis in this mixture of hilarity and confusion.

Private auditions will be held on Saturday, May 1st in NYC.

You MUST have great comedic timing and be able to give great facial
expressions.

Character Breakdowns:

HEATHER: 17 : a pretty virgin, the picture of wide-eyed innocence, butter
wouldn?t melt in her mouth.
Must have great comedic timing. Good at being babbly when nervous. Good
facial expressions.

BILL: 17/18: Heather?s boyfriend, handsome, caring and slightly clueless.
Must have great comedic timing. Good facial expressions.

The Doctor: mid to late 30s, VERY good looking facially & physically, [but
young looking]: Heather?s one night stand, very hot, toned body, can look
very professional or just very cool.
Intelligent. Must have great comedic timing. Good facial expressions.

Sean: 30s, The Doctor?s boyfriend, obviously gay [but NOT flaming...think
of Will on Will & Grace].
A handsome male nurse, he?s the type that gets a little pouty. Must have
great comedic timing. Good facial expressions.

Nurse: apathetic and brusque, obviously has no patience for patients.
His/her attitude is mirrored by the other office personnel. Should be able
to do good dead-pan possibly.

Pharmaceutical Sales Rep: late 20s to mid 30s, male.

Nun: cute and judgemental little old lady, expressive face.

Pre-Op Transexual: must be obvious that 'she' is a man when dressed up as a
woman. Sincere in standing up for his transgender rights. This is a 'woman'
in everyday dress. No showgirl, wild make-up look. Email picture in drag.

Dweeby Guy: Depressive. late 20's to late 30's. Has to fill out paper work
over and over and over. Skulks back to his seat with 'the world perpetually
against him attitude'. Office personnel: apathetic and brusque, obviously
has no patience for patients.

Teenage boys: Jock types and other varied looks.

Mom: Early 40's: Heather?s mom, very maternal in manner and appearance, a
professional nurse.
