Hello Everyone,

I am writing to let you know we have begun to get the Film Society
back up out of the archives of activities here at the Emerson
Umbrella. We have been discussing a Film Festival, and to begin
movement in that direction, we are showing Emerson Umbrella Film
Society Films again.

We will be showing the films in the Theater. We plan to have some kind
of collaboration with local restaurants so that this is a dinner and a
movie kind of package.

We have set the Date for the First Film on the Schedule, and it will
be May the 3rd, 2008. Please contact me if you wish to help us make
the Film Society thrive again, or if you want to participate by
helping with ticketing, concessions, or any of the various sundry
needs this program will have. Also feel free to write to me with
questions.

A reminder about Movies for Moms; it is happening in the Downstage on
Thursday mornings at 10:30 am. This Thursday's film is "Shakespeare in
Love"; we would love to see you!
