I have friends who were dear to him; from what I
understand his accent in the Bev Hillbillies was
pretty accurate- remember he was born in Lexington,
KY. Nevertheless, he was a fine actor and could
imitate any accent. He was a fine Shakespearian actor
as well, and a hill farmer accent wouldn't have done
the trick LOL
