Jim smoked heavily all his life. Upon being told he had lung cancer, he went
home and immediately stopped smoking, but it was too late. The years of smoking
had taken its toll. For a long time before the diagnosis, there were warning
signs of the impending doom, which he kept ignoring. He was in denial about his
problem as most people are. It is imperative that others learn not to wait
until it is too late.
