This just in...

Michael San Giacomo of the Cleveland Plain Dealer has written a book
called "Tales Of The Starlight Drive-In" that just came out Image
Comics (the same folks who created Spawn).

Each of the 32 stories is set in a drive-in and gives a time line over
five decades.
