Actually, I have been to see the drive in. A good portion of the land is between
the screen and the street, which the owner filled in with crushed gravel if i am
not mistaken to use it for other business purposes, such as buidling an arcade,
fun center, etc. Adding a second or 3rd screen is possible the only catch is
that there is only a couple rows between the concession stand/projector booth
and screen #1...so adding additional screens would actually make screen #1
pretty small in terms of cars. Usually theaters have a good 4 or 5 rows before
the concession stand so adding additional screens doesn't make the available
parking on screen 1 too small.
Overall this is a excellent drive in though and I would suggest anyone
interested to go take a look. The concession stand and grounds in general are in
excellent shape. I actually almost bought bought this place last spring for the
2008 season, but I wasn't prepared to move to PA at the time.
Hopefully someone will buy it soon.

The Reynolds Drive-In Theater opened during the late 50's heyday of the
American Drive-In, but, as was the case with more than 80% of America's
drive-ins, it eventually went dark. Still, those who believe it's better to
light a
drive-in than curse the darkness, will appreciate the re-emerging of the
American Drive-in, as has been evident over the past few years. It reopened in
1998, contributing to what can now be described as a 'renaissance' or rebirth
of the American Drive-in. The resurrected Reynolds has an 86-foot wide
screen, with parking for up to 550 cars on a 15-acre facility. Audio for movie
soundtracks is provided through FM (90.5) vicinity radio. It consists primarily
of first-run films (flicks that are fresh out of the can and opening for the
first time on the theater circuit), occasionally double-billed with recent
releases that are still current. They screen double features each night for
the same admission price and, periodically or for holiday weekends, they will
schedule special events or will screen triple features
