This is a mailing list for everything related to the world of documentary-film in India (and South Asia, occasionally beyond too). While the list is primarily aimed at documentary film-makers, anyone interested in this field is welcome to join. Membership of the list is free, and open to all. This list was set up to take forward the group called docuwallahs, set up by film-maker K Stalin of Ahmedabad, after control over it was lost due to a change in e-mail addresses. It is currently moderated by Frederick Noronha in Goa. While the list is moderated (to ensure that only on-topic posts go through, with only rare exceptions), we welcome all points of view related to the topic.
