Attendence continues to grow for disTHIS! Film Screenings! Over 50
people (our most ever!) packed the DCTV screening room for the May
3rd showing of "Born Freak" and energetic talkback session with the
film's host, actor Mat Fraser.

As expected, the discussion was lively.

Topics ranged from disablilty pride, to a proposed remake of the Kung
Fu classic "Crippled Avengers" starring an all disabled cast! Is the
world ready for disabled action heroes? If the response was any
indication, we'd have to report an enthusiastic "YES!" Last but not
least, we addressed the burning question, "Does Fraser always appear
in movies in his underwear?"

Even the media is catching on. "Able News" was on hand to cover the
event and did a subsequent interview. Look for coverage in their July
issue!
