If you have a passion for creative and innovative design, here’s an
opportunity to work with one of the most creative organizations in family
entertainment. Created and sponsored by Walt Disney Imagineering, the
ImagiNations Design Competition offers opportunities for diverse students to
showcase their talents. You can win a 10-day all expense paid trip to
present your project to a panel of Walt Disney Imagineering Executives, and
have the opportunity to compete for the “Best in Show” awards. This
incredible opportunity will provide participants with insight into Disney’s
creative process, and learn what it takes to succeed n an innovative
organization. Additionally, all qualified applicants will be considered for
internship opportunities with Walt Disney Imagineering.
Show us your creativity by using your technical, artistic, or writing skills
to design a ride, attraction, hotel, or perhaps a land within an existing
Disney theme park or resort. Or create an entirely new experience; a theme
park, resort, themed restaurant, or something completely unique!
Showcase your talents, earn internship or associate opportunities, and gain
practical knowledge in design, engineering, architecture and related
disciplines!
The ImagiNations Design Competition strives to provide opportunities for
students and professionals who have a passion for integrating creative and
innovative ideas into the "dreaming and doing" at Walt Disney Imagineering.
We are searching for outstanding talent.
You may enter the competition only as part of a team of at least two
participants with no more than four participants total. All projects,
regardless of how many participants worked on them, will be judged against
each other. To qualify, each team participant must be a current member of a
501 (c)(3) Creative Arts Organization, (like the Media Access Office), or a
current member of an Association focusing on one or more of the disciplines
listed below, or a University student majoring in one of the disciplines
listed below:
Fine Arts
Digital Arts / Animation
Theatrical Design/Production
Creative Writing
Media Production / Interactive
Interior Design
Construction Management / Project Management
Architecture
Engineering
If any participant, or their immediate family members works, or has worked,
for The Walt Disney Company, they do not qualify for this competition. For
questions on eligibility, please contact us. All decisions on eligibility by
Imagineering are final. Please be aware that all submissions, and the ideas
contained therein become the sole property of Walt Disney Imagineering.

A list of contents accompanying the submission
