I think it was his tv show that got me hooked (I have one complete episode of
the show on one of my tapes), then of course the seasonal favorite, White
Christmas.
Back in the 1960's I used to stay up all night on both Friday & Saturday to
watch old movies on a local station's 'All Night Show' that how I got introduced
to alot of the older actresses/actors. The movies were shown in categories each
of the nights. They would show 3 movies each night (a comedy/musical, an
action/western, and a drama/science fiction) and fill in between the movies with
shows like 'Highway Patrol' (or other police half hour dramas).

I was just sitting here wondering what the first DK movie I ever saw was.
I know I watched the DK Show when I was young, (Wednesday nights, if I
remember correctly.) and was captivated. I three movies I remember seeing
very early on were The Court Jester, Hans Christian Andersen, and The
Inspector General. Not sure which was first.
Tracking down "first" memories is a tricky and slippery business!
What are your earliest memories?
(with huge apologies if you've already discussed this at length)
