Last week my husband and I saw "The Kid From Brooklyn" at the Stage Door Theatre
in Coral Springs, Florida. I am also a kid from Brooklyn. I was born in East
Flatbush, but when my Mom passed away I was sent to live with my grandparents in
the East New York section of Brooklyn. That's Danny Kaye's old neighborhood.I
also graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. I was about 10 years behind
Danny. He was expelled from Jefferson. Can you just imagine his
behavior?..dancing and singing in the halls. His talent over flowed.Anyone else
