Alan,

Amazon.com has some Up in Arms for sale (in fact I just bought one
myself). Here is the link:

If the link doesn't work, I found it by using Google search and typing in
Danny Kaye Up in Arms and it was the first on the list. They are all VHS.
I did notice they still have some "Wonder Man" on DVD.

I have been fortunate enough to find The Court Jester, The Inspector
General, A Song is Born, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and Wonder Man on
DVD, and they have all been digitally remastered except for Inspector
General. I have Kid from Brooklyn and Wonder Man on VHS. I paid $70 for
the VHS of Wonder Man before I found the DVD. It is almost mint condition,
including the original cover. In case anyone is interested, I will sell it
for $60 plus shipping. I also have my original VHS of Court Jester that is
in excellent condition. I cut the box up to glue on a plastic box for safer
storage. I will sell this for $50 plus shipping.

I have been searching for good prints of On the Riviera, Merry
Andrew and Knock on Wood. I have purchased two of the three on the
internet, but both were just OK, copied off the TV. (Better than nothing).
I bought a DVD recorder and finally got Merry Andrew on DVD which is a
pretty good print, but would love to get it and On the Riviera and Knock on
Wood on digitally remastered commercial DVDs.

These movies are so good that I can't understand why the family
hasn't issued releases of them. If I knew how to contact his daughter I
would. Does anyone have any info on this or when releases of these movies
might be out? With all the good old TV shows being sold, I wish they would
do the same for Danny's TV variety show. I never missed them when I was
kid. Merry Andrew was my first introduction to him, and I've had a thing
for red heads ever since!

Lynn
