Re: [dannykaye] Re: On the Riviera

Hey Barbara,
I see everyone's filling you in! There's a number of
them that are still not available. In the last 7
years, we've seen Pinocchio, Me & The Colonel, Up In
Arms and the Five Pennies added to the list. Still
missing is:
Mad Woman Of Chailott
On The Double
On The Rivera
Assignment Children (Unicef Promotion)
Merry Andrew
Peter Pan.....to name a few.
Four of these I've managed to find off the TV, often
looking up what's on under his name on the music
search on the net, going...Merry Andrew's playing on a
channel in Seattle, who do I know in Seattle?! (and
then sending the sweet as sugar con e-mail!) I'm in
Canada myself, and not a whole lot shows up here
either.
There's also his appearance on the Cosby show (for TV,
one I still haven't found myself), an appearance on
the Muppets, as the Swedish Chef's uncle, doing
Inchworm, and a Love/Hate version of Cheek To Cheek
w/Miss Piggy, and even an appearance on the TV
produced 2nd version in the mid 80's of The Twilight
Zone series.
That, and the fact that he had his own show in the
60's, with as yet one VHS of "highlights" from it,
there's still a lot out there not available.
Guess all we can do is be patient!
Like I said, the top four appeared quite recently.
But, I'm hoping the rest appear before I'm dead &
gone!! :oP
C'est La Vie!
