Hello, all! Time for me to announce myself as well!

I've loved Danny's films for years. I don't think I've ever seen The Five
Pennies, which is a shame given that Harv reckons it's his best!

For me, I would say that his top films (of the ones I've seen) are:

1. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
2. Wonderman
3. The Court Jester
4. Knock on Wood

although, of course, you can't rule 'White Christmas' out of the equation,
because Danny & Bing worked very well together in what's still probably the
best feel-good Christmas film of all! NB: The R2 DVD is out on 3rd December,
with audio commentary by Rosemary Clooney! My order's already in! :)

What would everyone say is their top five Danny films? Would anyone like to
do a poll, perhaps?

I live in the UK, and Danny's films aren't shown on TV as often as I'd like
(I don't have satellite), and when they are they're often hacked about for
time reasons! They actually removed the entire "piano scene" (where Walter
attracts Virginia Mayo's character's attention at night by playing
"Beautiful Dreamer" on the piano) from Walter Mitty when it was last shown a
few years ago! I'm really looking forward to the time that some of his films
are released on DVD over here. Can you get any on DVD in the US yet?
