Hello everybody and happy Easter!!!!

It's me Daniel again! Seems like this newsgroup has gotten much
bigger after the release of "Love Undercover". I'm glad that all of
you liked this movie. Becasue of all of your support, you were able
to boost the box office ratings. Thank you!
I also want to say thanks to everyone who showed their support at the
Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia premiere showings of Princess D. It
was nice to see so many of you come and support the movie. So far I
think Princess D is my favorite film to date. If you haven't seen it
yet take some time to see it, it has a very special message for
everyone!
My trip to Singapore and Malaysia was fun! Our schedules were very
very tight so we could hardly catch out breath before we had to go
off to our next event. But these kinds of promotions are always this
way. Too many things to do and not enough time! Again thanks to all
my Singaporean and Malaysian friends out there for showing up at the
events and giving us all that support!
Next week sometime I should be going to Taiwan to promote Princess D.
I do not know the exact schedule yet but it will be pretty soon! I
will also be starting a new movie in the middle of April. So I will
be getting busy again! My unofficial rest period is over!
I got some letters from some of you who didn't like "Beauty and the
Breast" very much saying that you thought the message was very stupid
and shallow. Although I agree this movie was not the best, there are
some merits deserving a bit of credit. "Beauty and the Breast" is
basically telling us that we do not need to lie to to get ahead in
life. We do not need to pretend we are something we are not or
pretend to have something you don't have. If you be yourself you are
most likely going to be better off. In the movie my friend Mario
pretends to have cancer to get Yuki to like him but in the end she
finds out and he pays for his mistake. Breast boosting medicine is
also a kind of lie too. You don't need to have big breast for people
to like you or respect you. So who you are is not based on these
types of things, and people will like you for who you are and not
what you pretend to be. This will get you much further in the long
run. If you see the movie in this light I think you will look at it
differently. I actually had a lot of fun making this movie because a
lot of the comedy parts Francis Ng and I made up ourselves. It was a
very good experience for me.
In the future I will probably be doing many different types of
movies. Some of which you may like and some of which you may not
like. It will probably be the same for me, I might like some, I might
not like others but I will never know until I try. It is my job as
an actor to explore and discover different things. This is what I
like most about my job. Sometimes I might be a bad guy sometimes I
will be a nice, cute, sweet guy. None of these characters are the
real me, they are just people in a story I'm trying to become. These
are my choices and I really enjoy them. I think you can try to do it
too. Maybe not in acting, but in everyday life. Don't be afraid to
try something different or new. If you feel something in your heart
it doesn't hurt to try. Don't worry what other people think. The
worst thing that could happen is that you realize it's not for you
and you go on and try something else. These are the things that can
make your life more fun and interesting,! Who knows? You may even
discover something new about yourself, wouldn't that be great!

OK, one last thing I want to say before I go….to all of you still in
school and getting ready for exams "Jia You!" or "Ka Yau!" or "Keep
Working Hard!" you can do it! Remember find some way to reward
yourself when you're finished!
