Blessings to both of you on this coming June 30th. We wish you a
happy and love-filled marriage! Most of all, enjoy the day (and
please tell us all about it when you have a chance)!

(married 20 years this October)
Thanks for checking in Curtis! I hope you guys liked your wedding gift from all us boardies who are weeping on each other's shoulders because you are actually getting married....(don't tell my hubby that!) he he he
It's so cute how you are doing all this work at home while Jenn is busy with Tarzan...reminds me of how helpful hubby was before we got married...he would clean the dishes and do his own laundry...ahhh those were the days!!!
Just kidding!
See ya in Louisville...

Hey Guys, Just wanted to say hello and that I hoped you were enjoying the return of Spring as much as I am. Being outside, enjoying the fresh air, and wearing shorts again consistently puts a smile on my face. This year is no different.
Our return to the LA Book Festival was once again a great event. I'm amazed and impressed by the dedication our fans show by returning year after year. I guess it's nice to know that we're not the only ones making the annual trip to the UCLA campus ; ) The stage was set up a bit differently which gave us more room both onstage and backstage. We got so see some of our old friends and even caught a glimpse of Henry Winkler (The Fonze) and Julie Andrews!!!! I wanted to ask Julie if she still knew how to fly from her Mary Poppins days, but alas she was quite busy and we never really had the chance to speak. Regardless, it was great to be back and see all our old friends again.
Our quick trip to Busch Gardens Virginia was another nice repeat visit. While the stage couldn't have been more perfect for our show, but weather was not quite on our side. It was chilly, windy, and rainy at times. Oh well, I guess Mother Nature was not in the mood for Hi-5 that weekend. Even so, a small but dedicated group came out and we really had a great time. One of the bonuses of playing Busch Gardens is going on all of the rides. My favorite was Apollo's Chariot so if you ever get a chance to visit, you must check it out.
My wedding is coming up very quickly and I'll be trying to fill the next few weeks before our Canadian tour getting everything ready. I'll be painting, gardening, chopping, planning, and many more 'ing's before all is said and done. I'm quite sure I can get it all done in time, but until I get started I'll be a little nervous. Jenn is still quite busy with Tarzan, so it'll be me
and the squirrels up there trying to get all this done. Maybe I'll make some new furry friends??? I guess I could tell them I played a squirrel once on Hi-5 and that could be my ice breaker. I'll let you know how it goes.
Anyway, I hope you all are doing well and I'm really looking forward to see a lot of your faces while we're out on the road. Be well and keep in touch.

Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! Play Monopoly Here and Now (it's updated for today's economy) at Yahoo! Games.
Hey Curtis, so good to hear from you! You are making good on your
promise to write periodically! It sounds as though you are very busy
getting the house ready for the wedding - I hope that you and Jenn
have a spectacular day and of course you must post a photo or two of
yourselves :-) Looking forward to hearing you on the radio in just a
few minutes. Keep those squirrels at bay - they can do some major
damage. Hope to see you on tour again, but it doesn't sound like
you'll be in New England again too soon. Take care!

Hey Curtis, so nice to hear from you! Thanks for popping in and
keeping us in touch with all the excitement in yours and Jenns life!
It was so good to see you guys on tour last month in Hartford; hope
you and the rest of the cast liked your cards from Katie, Jill and
Lia, they (we) had so much fun making them! Good luck with the
upcoming wedding plans - wow, getting married in a church right across
the street from your "second" home sounds so romantic and
picturesque. Make sure you take some of your own fabulous pictures,
and post them too so we too can see from your perspective.
It was nice to hear about your charitable work too. I'm sure those
kids had a blast with you guys. What an honor for you to take some
pain and suffering away for a short time for those children. Just
incredible.
Take care, and keep those notes coming!
Lois
Hey Guys, I know it has been a loooooooong time since I've last written. First, please don't mistake my absence for my lack of caring or not appreciating all of the stuff you send my way. I must admit that I really look forward each day to the little notes from you guys in my inbox. It's so great to hear of all the things you all are up to, whether it's a birthday party, a lost tooth, or just a note to say hello. I could try and think long and hard about why I'm so terrible at writing back, but I'm not sure either of us have that much time. What I can tell you all is that I will make a sincere effort to be better. I figure a great place to start would be right here, in a little note/blog saying hello, thank you, and to fill you in on what's been going on over here.
First, Hi-5 all converged on Denver for about 30 hours last weekend to do this really cool charity event. For all you Denverites who are screaming out loud right now, please know that this was a private function for a group of kids with the Starlight Children's Foundation. The foundations goal is to ease the treatment and recovery process for kids with cancer. We had the opportunity to perform a show for the kids and their families and then do a meet and greet afterwards. It was so rewarding for us to help bring smiles to kids faces who have lived a whole lotta life in a short amount of time. It's just another way that Hi-5 can really help out and all five of us were thrilled to be a part of it.
Last night I had a really cool experience. If you watch Discovery Channel than you've probably seen the promos for Planet Earth already. If you haven't, you really should check it out. A group of filmmakers got together and have spent the last five years going all over the planet with HD cameras capturing some of the most amazing footage ever recorded of animals in the wild. They put it all together into an eleven part mini-series airing on the Discovery Channel beginning March 25th I think. Anyway, because I work with Discovery I was invited to the first screening of the series at the American Museum of Natural History last night. I met up with Karla and we kept each other company at the event. Everybody was dressed up and the little snacks they had for us were amazing. The movie was shown in the room where the giant blue whale is. It was the first time I'd ever seen it and I was stunned. It was the largest thing I have ever seen! Anyway, the chairs were set up right under the whale and there was a giant screen where the movie was shown. I swear I had to pick my jaw up off the floor many times. The photography and subject matter was unlike anything I had ever seen before in my life. We only saw one hour of the eleven hour series and I can't wait for the other ten. It was also cool to be sitting close to such influential people as well. Two rows behind us was Martha Stewart, and about five chairs down the row from us was the
U.N. Secretary General. It really was a night to remember.
Other than that I'm just keeping busy with wedding plans. Jenn and I are getting married on June 30th and we still have a few things to take care. Luckily for me, Jenn is a great planner so most of the work has already been done. I think both of us are hoping that we're not running around like chickens with their heads cut off the week before the wedding. On top of that, we're moving at the end of the month so I'll be busy packing all our stuff into boxes while she's swinging around the jungle in Tarzan. It's a year of many changes and I'm really looking forward to it.
On the Hi-5 front things seem to be picking up. At this point it looks like we'll be in Canada for the first three weeks of June. I don't have any specific dates or cities yet, but keep your eyes peeled. Beginning July 16th we're going back out on the road with the full length show and will travel all over the US for roughly eight weeks. Again, I don't have more details but I'll keep you all posted.
I hope you guys are doing well and are looking forward to spring as much as I am. Take care and keep those notes coming, I LOVE THEM!!!

Hey Bonnie,
Thanks for your note. Sorry it's taken me a while to respond, but it's been really busy here. :o
It's been so great to see everyone interested in helping Curtis and Jenn G celebrate their big day. Some people have been wondering about going in together on a "group" gift off of their registries, which I think sounds like a really fun idea.
If anyone is interested in joining in on a group gift for Curtis and Jenn, please let me know at want.to.fly2@ gmail.com by Friday, March 16th. We'll then take that discussion off-list and figure out all of the details. Talking about money is always a little awkward :p, but I'll go ahead and mention a couple of things:
-- I think the more merrier, so anyone who can contribute anything $1.00 or more will be included. Please join in!
-- I'll create a separate PayPal account to handle everything, and we can make other arrangements for people who aren't on PayPal
-- We'll alphabetize the names on our joint card so everything is totally fair. Let's include our kids' names too!
If you want to join in on the fun, just let me know by next Friday. Thanks!
Thank you for the reminder Cindy. June will be in here in no time!! I can't believe its already March. Do you know of anything Curtis and Jenn may need? ~Bonnie

Curtis' wedding to Jenn Gambatese is coming up in late June. (Time's flying!) It seems kind of early to be thinking about it, but I've already received a couple of questions about this, and I approached Curtis about the idea that some Hi-5 fans might be
interested in sending the Cregans something for their big day. :) So, for anyone who might be interested, I thought I'd pass along some info.
First and foremost, obviously anything created by you and/or your kids would be the most wonderful gift and would mean the world to them. You can always send anything to Curtis (and Jenn) using the contact info at his website:
If you think you might be interested in sending something to Curtis and Jenn through a gift registry, please feel free to e-mail me at want.to.fly2@ gmail com and the info is yours! In the interest of trying to maintain some privacy, their info is not being posted anywhere on his website nor directly onto any mailing lists. So even though anyone reading this
is totally welcome to the info, it is requested that if you get it, please don't re-post it anywhere on any other lists, forums, or websites. Thank you! :)

no clue when it will air again... just chiming in because it's true that if you blinked at the wrong time (like i did the first time it was on), you will miss Curtis! i actually had to rewind it!
Happy birthday, Curtis! The Fidelity Investments television commercial that Curtis appears in aired during NBC's The Office tonight. It was the first commercial during the break around 8:45. Don't blink or you'll miss him! The theme of the commerial is bosses, and the narrator is talking about a good boss he had, and it shows a young businessman (Curtis) and his boss walking in an office plaza. There is one shot of them having popsicles :)
