This has been such a rollercoaster of a year for us... We are all ready to bid 2006 farewell and look optimistically to what 2007 will bring. Annie is working on updating the "year in review" blog - it should be up soon... http://kwongdynasty.blogspot.com
Thank you for being a part of our lives. No matter what our relationship, you have made a difference and for that, we are blessed.
Wishing you love, happiness and good fortune in the coming year... Hoping that we can spend some time together whether it be in person, phone or online. :)
thank God we have more than one working computer in our house... (and that Ryan is willing to share his 'puter with me!)
unfortunately, everything in my Outlook (emails, many email addies that i didn't have in my old Gmail/Yahoo!/Evite accounts) is gone - it sucks because i had lots of history there over the years... :( i'm hoping to recover some of it - wish me luck! :( thankfully, i backed up my entire hard drive last week so i still have most of the documents, photos, invites, etc. that i would've been devastated to lose.
i've re-routed my alphaphi.org email address to another host so it still works...
if there is something that i was working on for you or if you have questions that i was supposed to address for you, please remind me...
crap... i need to go old school again and start writing stuff down... pffft... and i though electronically was the way to go... after my cell getting fried and my hard drive dying, i've learned the hard way that convenient isn't always the most reliable... :( wah!
ok... off to figure out what is wrong with my computer and to start over again with a blank slate... grrrrr...
The winner of our Holiday Giveaway is Isabelle Marinello, a young Hi-5 fan from New Jersey. Congratulations, Isabelle! :)
Thanks so much to everyone who entered the contest. We had nearly 80 entries and a lot of wonderful notes -- thank you for your fun and thoughtful participation and for your support, too! :)
A few people have asked about this, so here's the info. :) Curtis' recent radio interview is currently available as the most recent On Demand clip here:
Our Target store received some of the new videos in... however as of 9:00 this morning they only had 3 of each left. Of course I've had them "hold" my copies to pick up at lunch time.
So, if you're planning to go to the store, you might want to call ahead !
This is torture! I gotta go to pick the kids up from school and this interview is AWESOME!!!! Somebody better be recording this!! I wanna call in sooooooo bad!!!!! What a great interview! He had a GREAT shout out to Cindy!!! WOOOT!!!!
Some body better be recording this! ARRRRRGGGGG!!!!
The host of the radio show, Scott Chesney, is an amazing individual who has spent much of his life in a wheelchair yet has an incredible outlook on life. And it's interesting to note that he came to see Hi-5 at Great Read in NY! :)
To help celebrate the holidays, Curtis is giving away a brand-new Jup Jup and an "It's a Hi-5 Christmas" CD with his autograph (on the lyrics booklet). :)
If you're interested in winning these items, all you have to do is contact Curtis' website at curtis.site@...
with an e-mail titled "Holiday Giveaway," and your e-mail address will be entered into our drawing. The winning entry will be drawn on Sunday, December 10th, and the winner will be announced on Curtis' website and on these mailing lists.
Important: PLEASE send in only ONE entry per e-mail address. If you have several e-mail accounts, feel free to send in an entry from each account, but we will toss out multiple entries from any single account. (And we don't want our mailbox exploding too much.)
I wanted to point out a couple of cool things. First, Curtis will be interviewed on an online radio show next Monday, December 4th, at 3:00 PM ET, on
www.voice.voiceamerica.com . We have a promo ad they made with more info here:
Also, we've just added some great video clips and pictures from Curtis' recent performance in "Blue Lou and the Bullyfish." (Here's a special shout-out to Theresa for all of the great items!) Check out the latest update for all of the info and links:
Hi All,
I just want to say that my daughter just loves the theme song TEAM.
Everytime it comes on she sings along like all other kids but she goes
crazy when Curtis does his jump. She trys to do what he does and of
course keeps trying cause she is only three. She even gets other
people to try and do it also.
So far she has dragged just about every family member to watch curtis
jump. If you don't cheer after the jump she gets upset...
I just want to say thanks to curtis for making it so special for her.
She even trys to do the jump at kindergym.
Take care.
Jessica's mom.
enjoyed watching them ALL last night... wish i could've seen him live... the entire cast was awesome - even with the shaky camera work, you could really get a feel for the show...
thanks for sharing!

Freddie came to be used. Did your parents ever do the "ready Freddy"
when going some where? Well mine did, especially my dad. When I was
about 2 1/2 I asked him who Freddy was and he (being the joker he
was) told me that it was the girl standing next to me. I looked
around and when I didn't see anyone he talked to me and help me on
the path to a wonderful imagination. We created Freddie together
that day. Freddie was with me throughout most of my childhood until
one day I forgot her. Back in 2003 I had just given birth to my
second lovely daughter with major problems and it didn't look like
she would make it. Every problem she had involved the same areas
that the cancer had invaded in my father. The cancer took him in
October of 2002 when I was just 10 weeks pregnant. While sitting by
my daughter's side I heard a voice say "Ready Freddie"

Apologies in advance to the moderator if this information is not
appropriate to post here, but since it's about Curtis' Significant

we're around... right now, i think everyone is over at the Syd or Yas boards since they're new... :D goes in waves... ie: it's extremely busy here when the Captain Puffy Pants or Keeper of the Night Sky episodes are on. :D
I ever wrote you too messages and you did not answer so that's make
me worried, I wonder if they did got sented here are my two messages:
"My hometown Edmunston, people speak French, they never heard about
the TV show Hi-5 but in this town, there is a birdge that lead you
at the town of Madawaka in Maine; I bet people know more about Hi-5
in Maine then Edmunston. It would be easy for me to cross the bridge
to Madawaska Maine to watch the Hi-5 show."
Can you please tell me if is is posible to make a show at Madawaska?
The other message is:
"That's okay, once after I wrote that note to you, I talked about
that to my mom and she really does not belive what my friend said. I
even told her about it did not show her phone number and my mom said
it was a double line because she (Kathlyn) was connected to my phone
at Montreal and her fiancé Mike was connected to my phone at Boston.
So I guess just like in the begainning, she tricked me that if I
say "Hello Curtis!" Mike might awnser me making me think he was
Curtis but because I laughed and said "Hello Curtis!" late, Mike
might be leaving the phone and Kathlyn made me think it was Curtis
who was gone!"
Take care! *winks"

I wouldn't be so quick to leave this group y'all....some people that have stayed on have valuable information regarding Curtis if you are interested, even though they also may join the other group, if you want to keep current on everything and show support I wouldn't leave. Now about the chick gettin kicked off this board, I can't speak on that, cuz as a moderator I have had to kick some people off and it's not at all personal, its the scope of things in a big picture....
Anyways...it's important to note that email is an evil temptress, and she can deceive....people read stuff wrong and read too much into some things, I do it all the time... Just know that each member in the curtis board(s) shows support for...Curtis, and if that is what you want to give; give it. Go to no email, whatever; just show Curtis the support he deserves; that's why we are all here...
We are all here to show support to Curtis no question about that.
Now start dishin' on this valuable info on the incrediable CPP because you know I am interested....lol...
