IMAX or LieMAX? Paying Extra for IMAX Movies on Small
Screens - Like many
this past weekend, I decided to see Transformers: Revenge of the
Fallen. I wanted the full experience of seeing it in IMAX. Director
Michael Bay extended some of the fight scenes in "The IMAX Experience"
as they are calling it. He claimed in his blog that seeing the movie in
the larger screen format made the robots look like they were the actual
size they would be in real life on screens at least 50-feet tall. That
had me sold! I purchased my tickets online a few weeks back in
anticipation that it might be sold out and I wasn't wrong. I was only
able to get a 9:45AM show.
