Wow amazin, I have been in those gardens and never realised that once stood there a Druids Hall with a cinema in it. But that isn’t the building in question that Peter pictured this morning on Flicker. That still remains a mystery!

I notice in 1948 besides the Regal there was the GEM [Druids Hall] is  this the building you are interested in?

It was still operating as a cinema in 1956
