I will speak, in the name of the UK campaign, in meetings to set up a "Campaign for Democracy in South Africa" which will have as its main demand - over 50% of the vote must be sufficient to change the constitution! I'm sure constitutions prevent things like "nationalising companies and running them under democratic workers' control and management, with compensation on the basis of proven need", which is how my former organisation, the Militant Tendency put it in its days of infiltrating the British Labour Party. The taking over of companies after a socialist revolution will of course partly by the new revolutionary socialist government taking action, but largely by workers rising up and overthrowing their own bosses.

My band Galaxia, in which Rhiannon will also be a singer, will play in a fairly large number of venues when we tour. But obviously, most of the black masses still in the shanty towns won't be able to go - so as well as taking leaflets, we'll take large numbers of our CDs with us when we visit the shanty towns and give them away to some of the best people.
