On the way from Cuba to the United States a big storm flips her small motorboat over with her and her friends, not knowing that the only survivor that would touch the soil of the United States would be her two year old daughter who was tied down to her back. Cee-Cee in New York City with two job‘s, one as a waitress and the other as a dance instructor who would meet Julio also a dance instructor at the same dance studio, a White/Caucasian salsa dancer who would later become her dance partner. But Julio’s only two reason’s of having Cee-Cee becoming his dance partner was to have her voluntary sleep with him after he and his sister Christine rape her after she was drugged and knot out cold by Julio’s girlfriend Michelle. And to enter a dance contest with Cee-Cee and win to pay back his gambling death to the mob. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Hello All Please forward to all actors and crew! A play I wrote just got accepted to The Vagina Festival. Seeking actors and crew ASAP The Dot is a comedic one act play about two women who decide to open a “period” store. It deals with the bond that women share when it comes to women issues. The Dot is part of the Vagina Festival. Performances are: October 24th –October 26th at The Sage Theatre on 48th Street. Rehearsals are in September. No pay but will be highly considered for future performances. Seeking: CELESTE: twenties to thirties, works in advertising. MYA: thirties, Celeste’s roommate, mortgage lender DEXTER: Mike’s friend, likes Celeste MIKE: Dating MYA, business executive WAITRESS/LADY 1: twenties to thirties, any ethnicity, shy waitress and customer at store BATHROOM ATTENDANT/LADY 3: 40s to 50s, any ethnicity, very nosy bathroom attendant and irate customer. All actors but have great improv skills, comedic timing and high energy. This is an emsemble piece.
