La Mega Aired Broadway Meets Wall Street Event
The finance world connected with the 'best of Broadway' including Luis Salgado (In the Heights), Michael Balderrama (In the Heights) and Gabriela Garcia (CHICAGO, the Musical). An original song entitled, "Atrevete a mas" was performed in addition to a Broadway ticket give-away, as well as a light-hearted Salsa class with Salgado, himself. The three stars mentioned above are responsible for the quickly blooming awareness campaign, R.Evolucion Latina. Last Monday's event gathered nearly 100 individuals who yearned to know more about either finance or the arts. The end result? Valuable connections for future business ventures on both ends of the spectrum. What's NEW: Last week, we shared the 20th video produced by R.Evolucion Latina with cast member, Lin Manuel Miranda, of In the Heights. The week prior, we celebrated R.Evolucion Latina sponsoring the winners of this year's 45th Annual Daily News Spelling Bee. (Their poster appeared front and center stage during the event.) Today, we celebrate another successful accomplishment for this Latino movement. What's NEXT? April 2009: The Opening Eyes Program newly launched with the Mercy Center (in collaboration with Jaradoa Theater, April Nickell and Stephanie Klemmons), June 2009: Shafrika, the musical, in collaboration with Jaradoa Theatre, August 2009: D2GB Children's Summer Camp and many more events in between. Stay tuned... To learn more about R.Evolucion Latina, please email info@.... R.Evolucion Latina came together with The Mexican Professionals Network on Monday, April 6th to co-host a successful night of mingling at Piola in NYC. Last night, their message of positive collaboration was aired on La Mega, thanks to Maria Santana, our Mega TV Representative. If you weren't able to tune into La Mega to catch the piece,
