Welcome to the Corellian Embassy/Some Rescue News Group. We started as Nerfherder's Playground in January 2004 to go with a website bearing the same name. The name of the site and this Group have changed, but their purpose is the same.

This Is Some Rescue is a site Aquarius launched in 2004 to feature her own Han & Leia fanfic as an alternative to the EU. In June of 2006, she also adopted the Corellian Embassy site, which is devoted to the preservation of zine-published H&L fic, and integreated it into the TISR website.

The purpose of this Group is to provide interested visitors with updates on changes and additions to either site. Be sure to sign up for either "individual emails" or "daily digest" if you want these updates emailed directly to you. To deter spammers, membership requires approval, which can take 24 hours.

Both CE and SR archive adult material, but this is not listed as an adult Group, so *we don't discuss explicit stuff here.* We will alert you to new adult material, but PLEASE EXERCISE COMMON SENSE CAUTION when visiting the sites--don't click on *clearly marked* adult material if you're under 18 or offended by adult situations. No one's making you read anything; be self-aware, use self-control, and act responsibly!

I would also like to remind everyone that the characters and stiuations from the Star Wars movies are the property of Lucasfilm and whoever else might own a controlling interest. We're not making any money from anything we're doing here.
