Video sharing site Dailymotion and the Raindance.tv are inviting filmmakers
to submit films 60-seconds in length or less to the Short Circuit film
competition, the top prize of which is a one-week trip for two people to
next year's Cannes Film Festival. A panel of judges will narrow the field
down to 10 final entries, which will be screened at the Raindance Film
Festival in London in October. British filmmaker Michael Winterbottom
(Mighty Heart) will serve as Jury President. The deadline for submissions is
September 23, 2008.
