Hello,
 
I have been 'temping' while working on my screenplays.  Now, I would like to
work full-time with a film, video or television company.  If you know of a
position not with a film, video or TV company, and think I would be a great fit,
please feel free to contact me.
 
While working with a video company in New York city, I won, along with my video
team members, the Gold Award from the New York Film & Video Festival and the
"Creative Excellence" Award.  I have been studying screenwriting with Marc
Lapadula (screenwriting teacher at Yale University), Marilyn Horowitz
(screenwriting teacher at NYU) and Gordy Hoffman (screenwriting teacher at USC -
I took his Rochester Course).  I have been a member of Women In Film & Video -
DC.  I attended the the WIFV Screenwriting Conference in Washington, DC. 
 
I have a background in theatre which has been beneficial to my work in other
mediums - acting with Bill Hickey (Oscar-winner for Prizi's Honor/NYC), scene
design, lighting design, scene painting, special effects, carpentry, taught
stagecraft, worked as a stagehand for several years (bus-in road shows such as
Paul Taylor Dance Company, Richie Havens, Robert Klein), Company/Business
Manager (included booking shows) - and more.  In addition, I ran a box office in
New York city, did financial close-outs for the concessions for a National Tour
of Gigi with Louis Jordan and Betsy Palmer (so I can work with finances,
ledgers, etc.).
 
I have worked as Executive Assistants to Mr. Bronfman, Jr. (President/Owner,
Universal Pictures, MCA Records, Segrams), Mr. Alexander Lieberman (artist),
Mrs. Drusilla Hufford (Division Director, Stratospheric Protection, EPA - whose
job it is to oversee the closing of the Ozone Hole for the United States) as
well as Administrator to the Chief of Staff at Citibank on Wall Street - and
others.
 
I love to work with a team as well as independently.  I am easy going.  I great
with people.  I love projects.  I would be glad to forward my resume and
recommendations to you.  Salary is open.  I am more interested in learning - and
steady, full-time work.  I am able and willing to work in any position needed. .
. as long as the work and pay is steady.  Time for a lifestyle change. 
Currently, I live near the downtown area of Washington, DC.  I am single with no
children - hours can be flexible.
