development! October 8-11th 2004 we will host our fourth annual 3 1/2
day Academy Event at the Sheraton Universal, Universal City, CA. and
one lucky student will have their screenplay optioned for development
into a feature length film!
This is not just an EXPO not just a CONFERENCE but a unique
screenwriting and filmmaking event dedicated to nurturing and
advancing your career. Beginning, intermediate and advanced students
welcome. Independent film segment will teach you the basics and in's
and out's of producing your screenplay into a modified low budget
film....including utilizing SAG and WGA incentives for low budget!

Knightstar Entertainment will option for development ONE Screenplay
from a student that is currently registered and attends the Academy
October 8-11th, 2004. Each student that attends and completes the
Academy Conference Course will qualify to submit a screenplay for
consideration by December 31st. The screenplay will be picked by
January 2005 and go into development immediately thereafter. The
writer will be invited to participate in a modified low budget
feature length film and also be eligible to be on an exchange program
with a production company out of the United Kingdom and participate
in the making of a film or television program being produced there.
This will be for one to two weeks and in the Spring or Summer of
2005.
