Connor Paolo is a gifted young actor who is amassing an impressive body of work. A veteran of movies, television, live theater and commercials, he brings confidence and intelligence to his roles. As the teenaged Alexander-the-Great in Oliver Stone's Alexander, he received critical acclaim. In Clint Eastwood's Oscar nominated Mystic River, he had an important part in the key scene of the film. His television roles include Travis O'Connell in the daytime soap opera, One Life to Live, and two memorable performances on Law and Order, SVU: the chilling, sociopathic Zachary Connor in "Juvenile" and the troubled abused/abuser teen, Teddy Winnock, in "Web." On stage, he has appeared in the hit Broadway musical, The Full Monty, and in the New York Public Theater production of Shakespeare's Richard III. Handsome, talented, and dedicated to his profession, Connor deserves fan recognition.
Connor has recently completed work on three new movies. Oliver Stone's film about the 9/11 tragedy, World Trade Center, opened to excellent reviews and good box office in August, 2006. Snow Angels, directed by David Gordon Green, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival January, 2007. Both the film and Connor's performance are receiving very positive comments. Favorite Son, an independent film in which he has a lead role, is currently awaiting release.
This fall, Connor will be appearing as Eric van der Woodsen in the new television series, Gossip Girl, based on a popular set of novels. Currently, he is filming a new movie, Camp Hope.
