A fine piece of speculation, I do believe. :)

I've suggested that the arrangement of images determines
which 'story' belongs to each picture set (#24248):
diagonal/overlapping refers to Brutus/Martin/David/Van Eyck, and
square, non-overlapping images refer to Beate and
Georg. 'Concentric' picture groups are debatable. Now I see that
that speculation was wrong, though maybe it was on the right track.

Keep in mind, also, who the sender and the recipient of the message
is. Brutus was left a note to find this message; therefore, he is
the recipient, and Georg, considering the themes and the location of
the message, is the sender.

The current 'best spec' I've heard is that, in light of Martin's
hint, you can read the man-in-red-turban as the 'bad guy'.

So let's split these stories up, keeping in mind this is Georg
talking to Brutus.

1) RT (Red Turban) -> is asking -> (about) David (top left).

1) RT is masquerading as Martin -> RT/Martin overlay (top right) -
remember RK's domicide speculations, where he suggests that the way
to kill an AI house is to infiltrate and gain the AI's trust.
Whoever is making the false queries and killing Martin's homes is an
expert at infiltration.

2) Pedantic Automaton/Godhead Fires/What Is It... (top middle) -

Beate Bosch made herself a home, and an artificial intelligence
(Georg), that was so appealing that she fell in love with it, got
married to it, and gave it its own body. Unfortunately...

2) What The Water Gave Me / Awakening Conscience (lower left)

...this gift from the 'water' (a feminine symbolism--it could be
Beate, or the gift of the body, and the new evolving mind), has
awakened Georg to the possibilities of his new, 'free' body, no
longer tied to the house. And so he has come to realize...

2) States of Mind series / Weeping Woman / House Under Construction /
Fighting Temeraire / Godhead Fires (right section)

Careful, this is long. :)

...what will stop Beate from 'firing her godhead' again, as it were?
If she could make one AI she could fall in love with, why couldn't
she make another? Then what will happen to Georg? Will he become
obsolete and get cast aside (The Fighting Temeraire, Tugged To Her
Last Berth To Be Broken Up)? He doesn't want that. So he sees no
other option--he must leave Beate (States of Mind: Farewells). He
will go (SoM: Those Who Go), and build a life for himself (House
Under Construction). Beate will stay behind (SoM: Those Who Stay)
and grieve (Weeping Woman), but it is for the best.

In retrospect, with the newer revelations that Georg has left Beate,
and also that he is a member of BIOS (I think?), this suggestion
makes some sense.

1) Treachery Of Images / Martin pic / Ask (bottom center)

To finish his message, Georg tells Brutus that 'Martin is not
Martin'. In other words, beware of Red Turban--he may be posing as
Martin, and Brutus must be vigilant to watch for his movements.

I think this is a 'reasonable', if maybe not totally correct,
solution to brutus.jpg. Aside from anything else it shows that while
Beate and Martin didn't see eye to eye on many issues, at least Georg
and Brutus had a friendly rapport on some level. Georg's final (?)
message to Brutus is part apology, part advice/warning.
