Dear all,

You might be wondering what's happening with the Cloudmakers list. Well, for
those of you who still stop by every once in a while, here's an update (it
might not be going out on a Tuesday but it's an update nonetheless).

1 September 2002 saw the launch of Collective Detective
(http://www.collectivedetective.org/), a new community site for games such
as the Beast.

It's our belief that the Cloudmakers list and Collective Detective can, and
will, co-exist :)

So, for what it's worth, he's a clarification of the position of
Cloudmakers:

Cloudmakers the website, at http://www.cloudmakers.org/, will continue to be
the archive for the original Beast material, the trail, the guide and the
other fun bits that soaked up months of your life for the foreseeable
future.

Cloudmakers the list, at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cloudmakers/, will
also still be sticking around to provide a free mailing list about
everything to do with the Beast, and posting information about new games in
the genre. Yahoo! might be sticking it to us with adverts, but we'll be
trying our best to post the most interesting news to the list, and hey, it's
free!

Basically? We're still here, and we're still sticking around if you'd like
to talk :)
